Uniendo mundos

Multiple modes of creative artistry: Sirinx Music Camp of Spain
Music is a pluralistic art that enables and embraces all of us in journeys that can be as rich as our imagination allows them to be. We are a like a kaleidoscope, versatile, multiple and diverse. Music is one more bead in that kaleidoscope, a palette that offers us the opportunity to use the different colors of our talents and personalities.

Through different experiences in my life, I have been able to use music as a mean to enhance some of the other artistic expressions that are part of our lives. My hands can do many things but they only know how to do a few. They know how to share, though, and that sharing is what this presentation is about: it is about playing, playing music, writing, painting, building, and ultimately, creating with others. How the strength for creativity emerges? Where inspiration draws its wings from? What happens when we are able to combine our talents to create something that only can be done by all of us and that feels “natural”? This is the story of the Sirinx summer camp, a story that proves that music is a means to build spaces and contexts where several arts can be combined.

Pues me parece que has elegido genial.

If I were to attend your conference and had the chance to tell you something it would be this: even more than for their natural gifts for inspiration I admire artists for their determination, at a crucial moment, to devote their lives to the thing they like the most, instead of caring about making a living working in an ordinary job.

P.S. I enjoyed very much your post about Calatrava’s Milwaukee Art Museum.

Thank you Rafael.
I know how much you like Calatrava's work and I thought of you the moment I saw the building.
